Wayne Barnett, Vice President of Marketing, Managing Director
Wayne Barnett has conceived the strategies and implemented the tactical plans in a variety of new product development, and turnaround marketing programs for leading national corporations that include Sears, Roebuck & Co.; Clairol Appliance, Inc.; Bristol Myers/Squibb; Waring Products; and Farberware, Inc. With more than twenty-five years of front-line experience for major national companies and small entrepreneurial startups alike, has well-earned him his industry recognized reputation for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, reversing sales declines and significantly increasing sales and profits of existing businesses.

His accomplishments include the creation of a new business for Clairol that generated an incremental $23 million over an eighteen month period, authoring and implementing a strategic marketing plan to turn around the Waring Products Company, creating a launch campaign for a line of high end cookware for Farberware coupled with the design and execution of that industry's first-ever online web site and launching an import/distributing company for fine consumer products from Europe.

Today, Barnett directs the day-to-day operation of Steele Rose Communications and provides true marketing expertise in the public relations industry where there is a real void of legitimate consumer marketing talent from the Brand side.
